Location. Nestled at the base of the majestic Thunder Mountain and cocooned by red rock formations in Sedona, Ariz. The concierge can assist with arrangements for a variety of area excursions, including horseback riding, hot air balloon rides and mountain biking. Nearby Stride Rock State Park offers fishing hiking and bird watching.

Hotel Features. Each morning, the hotel serves a specially prepared, complimentary three course gourmet breakfast. The hotel's chef will prepare intimate and romantic dinners upon request. The resort features a small seasonal outdoor pool with views of the mountains and a year round spa tub with an adjacent fire pit. The hotel's spa offers a variety of massage and healing therapies, and specializes in couples' treatments.

Guestrooms. The Adobe Grand Villas features 12 uniquely decorated private villas. Thematic d�cor includes Tuscan, Spanish, pueblo and a fantasy garden. All guest villas feature luxurious bathrooms with jetted tubs in front of a fireplaces, bathroom telephones and designer toiletries. Select villas feature cascading waterfall showers. Living areas include fireplaces and sofas. Kitchenettes offer a refrigerator, microwave oven and mini bar filled with complimentary beverages and snacks and restocked daily.

Expert Tip. Located three miles from the hotel, Tlaquepaque Village boasts over 40 specialty shops and exclusive art galleries. It is not uncommon to discover a well known sculptors or artists working on their latest project.
